If you find religion stale and stifling and are seeking personal faith with more meaning and substance, your search is headed in the right direction.  The clear message of the Bible is that it is not about religion, but about a relationship.  God wants to be known by you and longs for you to have a close, personal relationship with Him.  That is the essence of true Christianity.
No amount of human good or religious effort can gain such a relationship.  God Himself has made it possible for anyone to know Him and be part of His spiritual family.  The Bible says, “Saving is all His idea, all his work. All we do is trust Him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish!

It’s not about Religion  It’s about Relationship

God has bridged the gap between himself and us through Jesus Christ.  It is through Christ’s sacrificial death that forgiveness of our sin is available and we can be brought into relationship with Him.  The Bible explains, “Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah… we’re a free people- free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds.  And not just barely free, either.  Abundantly free!” Ephesians 1:7, The Message
You can experience this freedom in a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus.  It is as simple as ABC
That you have sinned.
That there is no amount of good you can do to earn God’s acceptance.
That Jesus died and rose again to pay the penalty for your sin.
That faith in Jesus is your only way to know God and receive eternal life.
Yourself in faith to God by choosing Jesus as your personal Savior.
To live your life to follow and serve Jesus.
A simple, sincere prayer in your own words expressing such belief and desire will immediately bring you into a personal relationship with God and assure you of eternal life with Him in heaven.  God in His love and grace is ready to accept you into His spiritual family right now!
“This is how God showed His love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through Him… He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.”          1 John 4:9-10, The Message
